Biography

Olga Andrea M is a self-made style and beauty blogger, aspiring fashion designer and creative writer.



Born on May 17, 1990, Olga Andrea grew up in Krasnodar, a city in the Southern part of Russia, focusing on grasping as much knowledge as possible and striving to achieve various heights at every age. A straight “A” student throughout middle and high school, Olga Andrea always believed in working hard and giving it one’s all in order to succeed in life. She always strove to be a leader in anything she committed to, and it is with her optimistic attitude of not giving up that Olga Andrea was able to achieve excellent results and leadership positions in various aspects of her life. Olga Andrea has learned the role of leader from diverse life experiences – from becoming a class president in 9th and 10th grades of high school in Russia, to helping organize charitable events for a non-profit organization in her neighborhood.



In the summer of 2006, at the ripe age of 16 years old, Olga Andrea together with her mom moved to the United States. Lack of any language skills and critical amount of time to adjust to completely new life-style forced Olga Andrea to dedicate all her time and energy into achieving as much as possible, learning the language, making new friends, becoming an honorable student, and getting accepted into 6 out of 7 colleges she applied to. After completing 2 years of high school, Olga Andrea attended Temple University, where she pursued Bachelor of Business Administration degree. Aside from her academic advancement, Olga Andrea also focused on discovering her new artistic skills and talents, looking for inspiration, and nurturing her creative side. Having enjoyed working in the business field, Olga Andrea has always felt great passion for fashion, beauty, art and writing, which has been deeply imprinted into her every-day life. Since early age, Olga Andrea was accustomed to nurturing her artistic side through creating clothes out of her mother’s and grandmother’s (both professional seamstresses) fabric leftovers, exercising her makeup art skills on her cousins and friends, practicing creative writing during her free time, and taking professional dance classes for 10 years since the age of 6. On account of her immense commitment to dancing, with her dance group Olga Andrea got a chance to travel to and perform in various cities of Russia and visited Greece at the young age of 12 years old. This early exposure to responsibility and self-discipline, taught Olga Andrea to dedicate herself fully to any work she needed to perform.

 

As a child, Olga Andrea loved dressing up in her mother’s hand-made clothes, creating new looks and experimenting with different styles. Those clothes felt almost sacred to her, as she has always appreciated the amount of work, creativity and originality that were put into each piece. Watching her mother make the clothes cultivated in Olga Andrea a huge desire to create and appreciate other people’s creativeness. She spent many weekends sewing alongside her mother, and enjoyed the process of being engaged with something so close to her heart. Since those early days, Olga Andrea has not given up the idea to focus and build on her experience and knowledge of style, fashion, beauty and art. In October 2011 Olga Andrea found herself overwhelmed with her passion for all things beautiful and creative, which pushed her to start her own fashion blog, which chronicles some of her favorite things, such as fashion and style ideas, beauty and home décor tips, and various things that inspire her and help nourish her vision. She self-educated herself on these topics through fashion magazines and TV shows, and through attending various exhibitions and fairs. Having a defined sense of style, Olga Andrea still always aspires to discover more in the ever-changing world of creativity and to find new ways and outlets for this on-going creative process.



In addition to blogging about fashion, lifestyle, and all things that inspire her, Olga Andrea practices creative writing and designing clothes at her leisure time. 



 

In the summer of 2012, Olga Andrea moved to New York City to pursue her career in business and to focus on exploring and growing her creative skills in spare time.
